The difference is subtle but notice how cool tones like silver and magenta make Isaac's skin appear a bit dull while the warm tones like gold and orange bring a radiant glow to his skin. But if you look closely, black can come off a little harsh—especially against skin tones that are light, cool or soft in contrast. Here’s why: 🖤 Black is the darkest value on the spectrum. It has no undertone and creates sharp contrast, which can overpower features that are naturally subtle or low-contrast. 💙 Navy on the other hand, still offers depth—but it’s gentler on the face.
